The guide is clear and deals with almost any aspect of D&O insurance.
I mostly recommend it as a first book for lawyers, underwriters and insurance agents who need more than just the very basic information about how a D&O insurance policy works. Many of the stories are terribly sad, but there's a lot that's inspirational about people overcoming traumas.
Some of the chapters are written beautifully, they have lots of dream examples and good advice. He knows what hunger is and how much a hot meal means, when he can get one. I enjoy all of these books because they give an accurate, historical representation of the times. This is an unusual book. Organizations have strong tendencies not to change, but when they do, what are their limitations? Herbert Kaufman lays out the obstacles to and tendencies of change in organizations and addresses organizational survival and death. I was really involved in the first chapter, which is a refresher on many of these topics, in order to set up
