For such a short "book report", Essany jumps around an awful lot and goes off on tangents, e.g., Michael Jordan's baseball career - WTF?. Michael Holick is considered a pioneer in the field of vitamin D.
I consider the recent advances in vitamin D research one of the major breakthroughs in the entire medical field. All property owners in any country should have this book. The authors refer you to page 117 for more on this image but alas, no technique there either.
I bought the book to generate some ideas as I'm new to portrait post processing. My only complaint is that there aren't pictures for every recipe. I found the the last photo - a nod to Steve Jobs - to be particularly touching. As the story unfolds, there is sadness, tragedy, grief, and anger, but there is also hope. Obviously you can't include everyone, but big omissions make me concerned. Far from it. Admittedly all these totals do include every washer, nut, and bolt. (My inability to visualize or deal with K
