I honestly admire the way they tackled it. Christian fiction has had a bad reputation in the past for poorly structured plots, sappy, unbelievable dialogue, and, dare I say it? a tendency to heavy-handed preaching disguised as fictional novels. Her message speaks to all unhealthy ways of coping and finding self-love and recovery. The parable format makes the lessons easy to digest, but ongoing commentary and deeper dives make sure that you're not left with platitudes. "Fire Monks: Zen Mind Meets Wildfire at the Gates of Tassajara " by Colleen Morton Busch is the non-fiction account of the 2008 California fire which almost destroyed the Tassajara Zen Mountain Center. The website was no more than a marketing tool promoting Klososky's consulting and speaking services. The flashcards are fill in the blank, and you can start out not knowing anything, and the important part is to read the explanation for each question, whether you get it
