Editorial : About the Author John is a member of Team Thunderbird and Rocket City DroneZ. He has been active in aviation since 1999 and is an avid enthusiast of small Unmanned Aircraft Systems. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Baylor University. He has worked with Air Traffic services and in both commercial and civil capacities.

There are clear detailed instructions on how to fill out every field. As I was approaching the subject matter with some fairly extensive previous knowledge, I worked through the in-chapter "projects" as I read, but only reviewed the end-of-chapter exercises.

The book is organized into 3 main sections:
