I'm always a little hesitant to dive into a book that is all male POV because I have no idea how the author is going to write the guy (whether he's going to be a pig or a total caveman) and whether or not I'm going to want to be in his head the entire story. It's incredible! The best part is that each book contains a year worth of units divided into sequential lessons and with specific repertoire (though there is plenty of flexibility if you want to use other repertoire for some parts of lessons). Brannen kept a very good diary. All the basic commands are described in an easy-to-understand manner (e.g. Lightweight introduction to UV and vitamin D. This is such a wonderful book. it turns out what some might see as an introduction, he has picked up, on his own time, to secretly review on the couch.
