Meaningful Matters: Reflections on Joy, Loss and Our Changing World is a selection of Jeff Kelly Lowenstein’s favorite blog posts from the more than 1,100 pieces he wrote between late 2008 and the end of 2015. Started after a challenge from a colleague and friend and written during a highly consequential period in American and world history, the work brings together Kelly Lowenstein’s writings on sources of momentary delight, tributes to deceased loved ones and analysis of the seismic changes gripping our planet. Containing poetry, personal accounts, book reviews and open letters, Meaningful Matters tackles history’s painful legacies and affirms life’s daily gifts. Ultimately, it is a meditation on living with gratitude and joy in a profoundly imperfect world.

And I do like the binding in itself, and additionally would find it very useful were I to follow any of the recipes, as it allows the book to stay open and flat at any page of choice.. What a wonderful photo journey the author takes us through.

Well done to the team - you can tell how much sweat was put into assembling this book. The book is small and the binding is typical of the old Soviet method of binding. Gord's work is rich in symbolism and skilfully crafted, from a wide variety of materials and with many underlying concepts beyond the inherent functionality of furniture.

This beautiful catalogue of his work, created for his travelling exhibition through the Milwaukee
