I also highly recommend The Touch of Healing by Alice Burmeister, which incorporates the ancient Japanese healing art of Jin Shin Jyutsu.. If you are interested in mathematics but aren't a mathematician this is the book for you. There are also moths: the rice moth, the flour moth and others--by the time you see the moths their larvae have likely done damage. It turns the method is very simple, but is not obvious from just looking at the examples.
- A practice problem asks you to solve a system of 3 equations in 3 unknowns using matrices, but nowhere in the book does it actually show you how to write the inverse of a 3x3 matrix.
- The book has only one page and very little explanation on the dot-product, an area which i have seen several questions on in the practice exams online.
