All of the Goodness of God described in the Holy Scriptures of the Bible is for You and me today. I recommend this book- it is an excellent (though depressing) read.. He knows the territory and gives a useful overview of the history and literature of the Jesus Prayer, its various developmets over the centuries, uses to which people have put it (I had never realized until reading this book that some people use the prayer for intercession for others). But for those who don't, like myself, Princeton is amazing. Evans shortcomings regarding the history of the sport.).
