A candid look at how meeting and event planners behave toward industry suppliers, with helpful suggestions to bridge the gap in understanding and build stronger partnerships.
Editorial : About the Author Shawna Suckow, CMP, has been planning meetings and events since 1992. In 2008, she founded SPIN, the Senior Planners Industry Network, which is now the world’s largest association comprised strictly of senior-level planners. This book follows the 2012 release of its counterpart, Planner Pet Peeves. Shawna speaks to audiences worldwide on several industry issues and has written for many industry publications. She also consults with CVBs and suppliers to help them reach planners in the most effective ways possible. Her favorite questions are “Why not?” and “What are you waiting for?” She is a master suitcase packer who, when not on the road, lives in Minnesota with her husband, Greg, kids, Annie and Will, and dogs, Gabby and Henry. This is her second book.

I read this some time ago & didn't realize that I had not reviewed it. My therapist recommended it. Excellent guide for someone new to networking that wants to s
