One of M. Frederic Bastiat's most influential essays, "That Which Is Seen and That Which is Not Seen" details the way in which economic truths are gained - by looking at the whole picture. Bastiat proposes that that which is not seen is often the less desirable side of the issue, and so should be examined when making laws or economic decisions. This essay holds particular weight in our current state of affairs, and should be examined for its uncovering of government spending practices.
Editorial :
To be outcast is cool soemtimes, it doesn't help pay any bills, you need to be a Derridean for that to find a normative world. A fascinating look at just what is inside everyday objects and what surprised me was just how many bits there are when they carefully laid out and photographed from above in one of Todd McLellan's shots. Especially for those doing self-study, it's too bad that its not more complete.. It is just photographs that have been turned into poor quality line drawings, grey-scalethis makes them very difficult to color, because the lines are not distinct, and the results are rather ugly when you attempt it. While I wasn't as fond of the tradeoff questions in the "Love and Sex" book, I think that in this one they come across much better. It’s not intended to stand out, but to make the concepts memorable and provide cute girls to look at while studying math. Well done.. She identified the five stages of grieving as denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.
